Elphaba: Our Amazingly Wonderful Pumpkin Witch

So, tonight for FHE we carved pumpkins! It was super fun, and Joanna's and mine was Elphaba. If you look closely, she has bangs and a wart on her nose! :)

I'm Pretty Much Amazing.

I mean, seriously, look at this picture! Isn't it adorable? I should definitely be writing a paper right now instead of looking at pictures and blogging. . .but oh, well. This is much more fun. :) And I was really impressed with my photography skills with this picture. This is a little girl that I nanny for named Emma. She's three now; this was taken probably a little over two years ago. I just love it!

Birthday Festivities

I had so much fun on my birthday! My roommate, Melanie, decorated our basement (where my room is) with balloons, banners, and she decorated the mirror of our bathroom. I had preschool that day - so much fun! and after classes, Grandpa and Karen and I went to dinner at Olive Garden, which was delicious and super fun! Later that night Melanie, me, and some guy friends of ours went to Los Hermanos for dessert. All in all, I had a WONDERFUL 19th birthday!!

I Made It!!!!!

I got a letter in the mail today saying that I was accepted into the Early Childhood Education program here at BYU!!!!! I'm so excited that I made it in!

Adventures in Preschool

I am such a lucky girl!! I get to teach preschool here on BYU campus, in the Joseph F. Smith building. I absolutely love it! (no surprise, if you know me even a little bit). This is picture is representative of our Friday "prep days," which pretty much rock my world. Last week we set up a new dramatic play center, you guessed it, dress-up! . . .and I think that we had more fun setting it up than the kids had playing with it all week!
